Sautéed Swiss Chard

2-3 servings – 10 mins to prepare

Ingredients: 

  • 1 bunch swiss chard, chopped

  • 2-3 green onions, chopped

  • ½ tbsp. sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • ½ tbsp soy sauce

  • Sesame seeds, optional

  • salt & pepper to taste


Method:

  • Heat sesame oil and olive oil in a medium skillet. Add green onions and cook to soften, about 2 minutes. Reserve a few chopped green top for garnish.

  • Add about half the swiss chard (rainbow stems and all!). Cook until leaves are wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Add remaining swiss chard to the pan.

  • Add rice wine vinegar and soy sauce and cook while tossing until all leaves are just wilted, about 1-2 more minutes. 

  • Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
